Parenting Neurodivergent Children
Event Description
Parenting Neurodivergent Children is a supportive, neurodiversity-affirming workshop that helps caregivers understand cognitive and sensory differences as natural variations, not deficits. Families explore how neurodivergent traits may show up in everyday behavior and learn to distinguish skill gaps and support needs from intentional misbehavior. Participants gain practical, strengths-based strategies to foster emotional regulation, learning, and independence while reducing stress and stigma at home. By the end of the session, caregivers leave with greater confidence and actionable tools to better support their child’s well-being and success.
