AAP Guided Meditation
Event Description
Pause and recharge with this grounding and cortisol-lowering experience that introduces mindfulness traditions rooted in Buddhist and Southeast Asian cultures while supporting focus, emotional balance, and stress relief.
Led by a facilitator with lived experience in AAPI communities, participants first briefly explore the foundations, history, and traditions of this 2,500-year-old practice. The session then moves into breathwork, gentle seated stretches and posture alignment, and a guided practice to calm the nervous system, steady attention, and create space for greater awareness.
